  2. Flowers around Ridgecrest as as good as it gets! It's a great year - carpets of Goldfield all around the valley, the roads are lined with Desert Dandelions and some Desert Mallow bushes, and all the canyons have surprises, especially Sand Canyon. Come April 15-17 and we'll take you to the best places, and the Maturango Museum will have ALL of the flowers organized by family with common and scientific names on them so you can learn them easily.
